Emergency stay only and not again...
Booking.com placed me at this hotel in Changwon after Pasta Motel in Masan refused to honor my booking reservation. This hotel was probably one of the few hotels that booking.com has in the area that had someone at the front desk answering a phone after midnight that could also speak English. So im guessing thats why we had to stay there. Otherwise, i would not have picked this hotel. Nothing was wrong with the place per se, but for the cost to stay there - if i had wanted to stay in central Changwon (i didnt), there are a lot more affordable and comfortable places to stay even just a block away.
I paid on the website and the hotel made me pay with my bank card when i arrived so i got charged on my card twice. The hotel itself is pretty expensive but the room looks so cheap. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The pillows are overstuffed and hurt my neck. The frame on the bed is a big rectangular wooden box with sharp corners and edges that sicks out 4 inches so you may constantly bang your knee and shins on it walking around. The shower is also awful. The shower head is attached to the facet by a hose an mounted higher on the wall but far too low for an adult to use comfortably. Im 5'4 (163 cm) and it was hurting my neck to bend around to wash the soap out of my hair. My partner is 6'1 (185 cm) and all he did was swear the whole time he was in the shower it was so difficult. You can take the shower head off the wall mount and attempt to struggle to hold it in one hand while trying to soap yourself or wash your hair with the other hand. (no thanx) Also, there is NO SHOWER CURTAIN so the entire bathroom just gets unnecessarily covered in water???? whatever thats about, poor design for what they went with. PUT UP A SHOWER CURTAIN. The rod is already in place. so yeah, theres like 3 cm of water all over the floor when youre done. One great thing though - they have body sized towels there unlike every other korean hotel which gives you hand towels only. Also, the parking in the building was frustrating. We seemed to have difficulty using the elevator to get to the floor we parked on. Perhaps only one of the elevators goes to the parking area? Im not sure but instead we ended up at a closed night club and another floor that did not give us access to the parking area even though they were the floor we parked on or the floor above it. Went trying to use the stairwell, the doors to the other floors were locked. It was maddening.

Good location, big, clean rooms, proper shower in bathroom, overall great value.
The rooms were bigger than expected and the bathroom was nicer than expected. For this price in Korea you usually get a very small bathroom and not a proper shower - just a shower head that is attached to the wall, running from the sink, at about chest height. These rooms had proper overhead showers that could even comfortably accommodate someone as tall as me (6'4" / 193cm). This is a rarity in this price range in Korea.
